Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WorkVine, you confirm that you can form a binding contract and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using WorkVine on behalf of a church or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it to these Terms.

2. About the Service

WorkVine gives a church its own branded space where verified members create professional profiles as job seekers, service providers, or both. Employers and clients can browse a church’s talent pool and contact members through a guided form. WorkVine surfaces and introduces talent; it does not employ members or act as a recruitment agency.

3. Church Subscriptions and Plans

A church activates its space by subscribing to one of three plans, which differ only in how many members the church can host:

• Seed — up to 100 members.
• Growth — up to 500 members.
• Harvest — up to 1,000 members.

Churches with more than 1,000 members can contact us about Enterprise arrangements. Payment is required to activate a space — there is no free trial.

4. Billing and Payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Paystack, and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You authorise us, through Paystack, to charge your chosen payment method for each renewal. Prices are shown before you pay.

5. Member Limits

Each plan includes a maximum number of member profiles. If a church reaches its limit, it will need to upgrade to add more members. Admin accounts do not count toward the limit.

6. Access Codes and Member Verification

Each church controls its own access codes, which members use to register and become verified as belonging to that church. The church is responsible for issuing codes only to genuine members and for managing who has access. Verification reflects church membership; it is not a background check or an endorsement of any member’s skills by WorkVine.

7. Acceptable Use

When using WorkVine you agree not to:

• Create false, fraudulent, or impersonating profiles, or provide inaccurate information.
• Share, sell, or misuse church access codes.
• Harass, abuse, defraud, or mislead other users, members, or contacts.
• Post unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Interfere with, scrape, or attempt to compromise the security of the platform.

8. Introductions Only

WorkVine facilitates introductions between members and the employers or clients who contact them. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any employment, contract, service, or other agreement reached between members and third parties. We do not guarantee any hire, contract, income, or outcome. Members and those who contact them are solely responsible for their dealings with one another.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

A church may cancel its subscription at any time by contacting us at hello@workvine.app. On cancellation, the space remains active until the end of the current paid period, after which it will not renew. Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. Where a paid branch join-request is declined by the parent church, we review any refund on a case-by-case basis.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account or space that breaches these Terms, is used unlawfully, or poses a risk to other users or to the platform. You may stop using WorkVine at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

11. Disclaimers

WorkVine is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any profile will lead to a particular result.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WorkVine, LetsCr8t, and the Basileia Ergon Foundation will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of income, opportunity, or data, arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid to us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of WorkVine after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
